Aparna holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from York University in Toronto, Canada, with a specialisation in Corporate Social Responsibility and a Bachelor’s Degree also from York University in International Development Studies and Anthropology. She is passionate about engaging businesses to create mutually beneficial solutions to complex development challenges in the business environment.

Aparna worked at the EdelGive Foundation in Mumbai, India, where she was responsible for undertaking research and due-diligence of the company’s investees in the area of education and livelihoods.
Aparna worked as a Project Manager at CSR Asia’s Europe Office in Edinburgh, U.K to deliver sustainability-related projects for corporate clients.
Aparna is the Project Manager for the Global Compact Network Canada, the Canadian network chapter of the UN Global Compact.
